Ajax CEO tries again to push Man United's Ten Hag

Ajax CEO Edwin van der Sar is pushing for Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag

Van der Sar wants ten Hag to join Ajax

Ajax CEO Edwin van der Sar is reportedly pushing for Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag to join the Dutch club.

Ten Hag has been linked with a move to Ajax since last summer, and van der Sar is said to be a big admirer of the Dutchman's work at Old Trafford.

The former Manchester United goalkeeper is said to believe that ten Hag would be the ideal coach to take Ajax to the next level, and he is reportedly keen to bring him to the club as soon as possible.

The deal is worth an estimated £40m, and would see ten Hag become the highest-paid manager in the Eredivisie.

It is understood that ten Hag is interested in the move, but he is reluctant to leave Manchester United at this stage of his career.

The Dutchman is said to be keen to win trophies with Manchester United, and he believes that he can achieve that goal at Old Trafford.

However, Ajax are said to be determined to land ten Hag, and they are prepared to offer him a lucrative contract to tempt him to the Netherlands.

It remains to be seen whether ten Hag will leave Manchester United for Ajax, but it is clear that the Dutch club are very keen on appointing him as their new manager.
